Our Parent and Child groups offer a relaxed, nurturing space where families can grow together—honouring the magic of early childhood while offering meaningful support to parents and carers. Held weekly in our Victorian house and natural gardens at Christchurch Gardens, each group is led by a qualified Steiner early years teacher. Children thrive in a calm environment with a predictable rhythm, where free play, movement, and rich sensory experiences gently nourish rather than overstimulate.

For parents and carers, it's a chance to pause, connect, and share the early years journey within a warm, supportive community.

BUMP TO FIRST STEPS

Join us for a relaxed and friendly social meet-up. Each session explores a unique educational theme that inspires curiosity and builds confidence. While babies play and learn, adults can unwind with a craft activity and a warm drink.

FIRST STEPS TO 4 yrs

Join us for warm, welcoming sessions where unhurried, creative play unfolds both indoors and beneath open skies. We begin outside, then come together midway to share a seasonal craft or activity. After tidying up, we enjoy a wholesome snack before closing with stories and nursery rhymes. It’s a special time for children to roam and imagine, while parents find connection and calm.(Younger, non-walking siblings welcome)

FESTIVALS

Throughout the year, we celebrate a rich tapestry of festivals, inviting children and families to connect with the rhythms of nature, the mood of the seasons, and the wider world. Some festivals are shared within our regular groups, while others are special bookable events.

PARENTING CRAFT

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming social meet-up designed for adults. Each session explores meaningful educational themes that inspire, spark curiosity, and invite thoughtful conversation. As you unwind with a craft activity and a warm drink, you’ll gain understanding, practical insights, and helpful advice. It’s a chance to connect, share ideas, and find inspiration to carry with you into everyday life.
